So now i've attempted to overclock my i7 2600k using a hyper 212 Evo at 4,6 ghz. When I ran Prime95 in Blend mode for 10 minutes, I reached the highest temperature of 82 degrees Celsius. Is this a positive result or something to avoid? I'm currently at 1.4300 volts with a MSI z68 gd55 motherboard. Before that, I was stable at around mid-70s after a 10-minute Blend test at 1.3950 volts. What temperature should I aim for in Prime95 after about 10 minutes?

You're within the specifications, but personally I think 80+ is too hot. Your voltage and temperatures at 4.5ghz were much better, so I'd consider going back to what you provided. That's a significant overvoltage (reaching dangerous levels) for just an extra 100mhz. The 212 evo is a more affordable cooler overall, but you've reached the practical limits of it.

Increasing the voltage reduces the overall life of the CPU.

Yes, 1.3950 is a save voltage. I will switch back then.
