I set the clock speed to 2600k at 6GHz. My question is, is this considered a golden sample CPU or is it typical for this model? I searched online but found mostly old information—most overclocked models go from around 4.5GHz to 5.5GHz, and I haven’t seen anything at 6GHz yet. Maybe Windows isn’t showing the data correctly? For accurate benchmarking, what free tools could I use? P.S. Sorry for my English.

Check for issues in Task Manager. Use CPU-Z or similar tools to verify clock readings.

For a solid v/f or efficiency boost you'd aim for 4.6 to 4.8g based on CPU model (voltage 1.25-1.35v). If things hit the walls it usually comes down to cooling performance, possibly reaching 5.1 to 5.2 with strong cooling and a max voltage of 1.6v—around 32nm seems to hold up as well as 45nm.
