Hey everyone. Just got a PC with an RTX 3070 Ti and an i7-12700K. The CPU is drawing 79 to 100 watts even when the CPU is busy. Is this typical? Does it affect performance? In some YouTube benchmarks, they get over 120 watts in certain games. I just want to know if there’s an issue or not. Thanks!

What are the specifications of your computer? Is it ready-made? Which cooling system does it have? There might be issues with overheating or the motherboard restricting performance.

If it's working with the right clocks, everything looks okay. My setup is at 5.1GHz and it stays under 100W during games, which feels typical for me.
