I've found two options: an i7 10700k for $362 and an i9 10850k for $398, though the latter may need improved cooling. Both work well with a Z590 motherboard paired with a 3060 Ti.

For an additional $40, I’d definitely choose the 10850k. That upgrade would boost performance to around 10900k.

Need more processing power? Adding extra cores and boosting the clock speed would be ideal—go with the i9.

I recently faced a comparable situation. I chose the 10900kf and am completely satisfied with the decision.

If I pick the 10700k model, scythe fuma 2 costs $55. For the 10850k, I’d need a better cooler such as galahad 240 for $120, and my case is p360a (not too large).

You could potentially employ a budget air cooler such as the Hyper 212 evo for the 10850k, though I wouldn't suggest it. In this clip, he's pairing it with a 10900k, and the Hyper 212 LED maintains temperatures below 70°C even when power limits are in place.

I'm using an EVGA 360 I purchased on sale (and also because I got a good deal at Best Buy). https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-clc-36...Id=6453030 But as mentioned, you can get by with less if your tasks aren't demanding.

I'm just using a 1080p240hz streamer with a secondary PC. For your case, you'll want it to fit a 240mm height at the top and avoid any AIO fans at the front.
