CPU COOLER: stay calm! Pure Rock slim 2 92mm board with ASUS B560 plus PSU from Corsair CV650 Bronze. My CPU stays idle around 27-30°C and runs smoothly at 40-60°C during games, but it spikes quickly and throttles within seconds. It’s rated for 65 watts, yet in the screenshot it’s drawing 395 watts—overclocking isn’t possible and voltage looks stable. After the photo, it dropped to 190W with a package temp of 98°C. Am I just unlucky? My motherboard defaults to Intel’s CPU stress test showing 70-78°C at 1.27V and 120W. Why the difference? Also, power throttling occurs.
