Hey everyone! I’m finally able to upgrade my motherboard to something better. After dealing with VRM problems on my old one, the new setup is really helping the CPU perform at full capacity. The temperatures are higher now compared to before, but everything seems to be running smoothly. Idle temps are around 35-40°C, load temps hit 55-65°C, and games or Cinebench show CPU temps between 80-88°C when running at 100%. I’ve installed everything myself and checked the thermal paste—I think it’s just a bit too thick, but not enough to cause issues. Here are my specs: motherboard Gigabyte Z590 AORUS ELITE, CPU Intel Core i7-10700, cooler Nox Hummer H-224, ARGB thermal paste, case GIGABYTE C200, GPU GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060.

It seems your CPU cooler is in good shape. For a newer model like the 10700, consider purchasing a compatible cooler with mounting hardware if available. If it's still fresh, a dry condition makes it less likely you'll need replacement.

It doesn’t appear to be anything seriously wrong. The 35-40°C idle temperature is a bit higher than usual for an Intel processor, but the load temperatures match what I’d anticipate. This suggests the Windows setup might have many background processes running during idle time. It shouldn’t cause concern—it looks typical.

Looks good overall, it's comfortably warm but not too hot—still in a great range. Just note that the cooler is relatively small for an 10700.

Its totally fine, after all tjmax is like 100c If you wanna lower temps then go into bios and set a voltage offset or something
