Hello, here are some ideas. You're considering upgrading from your current setup to a new configuration. The two options you mentioned are: Option #1 with an Intel Core i5 9400F and MSI RTX 2060 Super Gaming X, and Option #2 with an Intel Core i5 9400 and Zotac RTX 2060 Super Mini. It's worth thinking about whether the extra cost for the integrated GPU in Option #1 is justified based on your needs and budget.

My view on integrated graphics is about adaptability. If the GPU fails, we can switch to the iGPU for fixes. For everyday users (non-technical folks), having integrated graphics isn’t really important unless you need it.

Depends on the price variation. It's great if your 2060 fails later. Alternatively, consider a Ryzen 3600 for better performance at a lower cost. You'll receive 6 cores and 12 threads compared to 6 cores without hyper-threading.

Just this reason is why I’m puzzled. I handle my office tasks through the system, and if the GPU fails, I’ll be unable to proceed.

To increase funding for MOBO, you must allocate additional resources.

This suggests a focus on 9600K per KF.

It's only worthwhile using QuickSync if you have a specific need for it. Considering a GPU failing years ahead is risky; you might find a cheaper alternative or upgrade entirely, as your computer would then be outdated. Investing in SSDs now could be more practical.

Before, I considered a 9600k budget but later removed it due to two factors: higher expenses and the lack of overclocking support on my MOBO.

I would choose “Option #1,” keeping the Core i3 8100 for backup in case the GPU fails, since it includes an integrated GPU.

That's another possibility; selling it would likely not generate much interest since people wouldn't pay over $50.
