Hi everyone!
With the current configuration, could you assist me with BIOS adjustments for a minor CPU overclock? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all these options...
Thanks a lot!

For CPU it's simple, just tweak the vcore voltage and core speed. Start with 1.3v and 4.8 GHz, experiment a bit. Use prime95 to test overclocking stability; keep temperatures below 85 degrees. If it doesn't hold, lower the clock speed or raise the voltage. I suggest not going beyond 1.35v initially. Which cooler do you have?

For CPU is straightforward, just tweak vcore voltage and core speed. Start with 1.3v and 4.8 GHz, experiment a bit. Use prime95 to test overclocking stability; keep temperatures below 85 degrees. If it isn’t stable, lower the clock speed or raise the voltage. I suggest not going beyond 1.35v initially. What cooler are you using?
This is my usual configuration:
Then I turned on Game Boost and set CPU BASE CLOCK to 104.77 MHz, aiming for 4.4 GHz (as shown in the top orange bar). Everything else was left to AUTO.
After rebooting, I got only 3.77 GHz. What’s missing?

Adjust the multiplier accordingly. Also, switch OC Explore to Expert, enabling frequency adjustments across all cores (select all core mode). Then modify the multiplier to 5.0Ghz.

uuu100145j :
Change the multiplier, not the BCLK.
Also, change OC Explore mode to Expert, which should allow you to change the frequency on all cores. (Select all core mode)
Then change the multiplier. 50=5.0Ghz.
Ok! I'll try it as soon as I'll be back home this night. Do you suggest leaving everything else to AUTO?
Thanks

Keep all other settings auto except Vcore. Otherwise the board provides excessive voltage (my choice was 1.456V at stock.) Consider adjusting the multiplier up to 47 at a 1.2Vcore and performing a stress test. If it fails, lower the clock to 46. I assume you're only slightly overclocking, so voltage beyond 1.2 might not be necessary. For those who like it risky, you can push the multiplier even higher. Don't worry about your PC crashing—I also have a Z370 MSI board. If it fails, it will prompt for default settings restoration.
