Since I switched to my new 1070ti, I noticed my game performance has dropped noticeably compared to benchmarks. On systems with weaker CPUs like the i54670k, I’m seeing better FPS than my 8600k. I’ve been searching online for fixes but haven’t found any. Recently, I realized my CPU usage is extremely high—around 95% even when no games are running—which is really odd. This person has the identical build as me and I’m averaging 100 to 130 FPS with frequent frame drops, so I’m unsure if it’s just optimization.
