I've been running my 6600k at 4.2 Ghz stable. I'm aiming for 4.6 or 4.7 ghz. Mostly for gaming. Considering CPU lifespan, is it worth pushing those speeds? Any advice would be great.

I don't believe increasing your CPU will make much of a difference in games. If you're working on rendering or similar tasks, then yes

What voltage is required for stability? In general, the highest safe voltage for extended use is around 1.35V, with a possible range up to 1.4V, though this could noticeably shorten CPU life. If it's still well under 1.35V, you can increase it further, but reaching 4.6 or 4.7 will likely push you past 1.35V unless you're very lucky.

I increased it to 4.5 and 1.3 volts and everything is working perfectly.
