Never talked about volts and everyone here stuck on the PSU except one person
Attempt to run 1.41V at 4.6GHz inside the BIOS, share your findings. That voltage was just right for my I7 6700K at 4.7GHz, showing that even with a subpar chip, it should work at 4.6V if possible; otherwise it's a PSU issue.
Also, you mentioned bluescreens. If the error says SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, it likely points to a problem caused by insufficient voltage or unstable voltage/thermal conditions. You overclocked in software that often doesn’t provide enough voltage during auto OC attempts, which is why manual OC inside the BIOS with the specified voltage is necessary.
I don’t claim this PSU meets modern standards, but it might suffice for your needs, especially if you’re not experiencing issues at 4.4V. Try 4.6V @ 1.41V and see how it goes.
