I was exploring some overclock results for the 6600k to see what clock speeds people achieved with different voltages. While testing at 4.5ghz, I found my actual speed was closer to 1.15v instead of the expected 1.35v. I looked into using more voltage than intended and managed to reach 4.7ghz with just 1.18v. I’m wondering if I’m doing this incorrectly or if I’m unusually lucky with this model. Would it be helpful to hear some advice from someone who has experience? Should I keep aiming for 5ghz or adjust the voltage slightly to match what others are using?
