Hi! Your new setup sounds powerful, but it seems like your system is struggling under the load. The high CPU usage in Fortnite combined with temperatures around 48-52°C suggests you might be pushing the hardware too hard. Consider checking your cooling setup, updating drivers, or reducing game settings to ease the strain.
Only you can improve the CPU to match your GPU. Previous models like i7 6700/7700 or Ryzen 5 work well on new platforms.
Ensure you have the most recent information about your latest intel chipset driver and graphics card updates.
Find a CPU that works well with Fortnite, as I used it until last November. What cooler are you using? If you have something solid, you can easily boost all cores to 4.5GHz by adjusting the voltage to 1.33V, which should make a big difference. The stock speed of 3.9GHz isn’t enough for many modern games. Also, avoid running multiple background tasks like YouTube, Discord, Spotify, fan controls, etc., while gaming—these can hurt performance if the game is demanding.
I mostly play without any extra games besides Fortnite. I'm using a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO, and the temperatures stay pretty stable around 45 degrees. I'm also running at 4.5 GHz.
