The i5 6500 is an LGA 1151 CPU model. It functions with 100- and 200-series motherboards such as H110, B150, H170, Z170, B250, H270, and Z270. Note that it does not support 300-series boards, even though they are also LGA 1151 (commonly called 'v2' unofficially).
