I’m ready to boost my CPU but I’m still learning and worried about damaging it. Here are my details:
CPU: Quad Core i5 4690K 3.5Ghz S1150
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97M-DS3H S1150
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Kingston HyperX FURY DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU: Sapphire R9 280X 3G Dual-X OC
Power supply: FSP Raider 650W 80
CPU cooling: Corsair Hydro H75
During stress tests I reached 40°C.
What are the safest temperatures and voltages for this CPU?
Thanks!

I wouldn't let it rise above 75 degrees just to be cautious, but 80 seems like the likely maximum I'd reach.
