Hello, I have a large Q, I just overclocked my i5 with stock vCore. I set the ratio to 42 and turned on Fixed Mode, then ran Prime95 for about 8 minutes. It passed all two tests across all four cores. Initially, the first five minutes were okay with temperatures staying around 60°C. However, during the 8K test, temperatures spiked to nearly 80°C, and throughout, my CPU was constantly at 100%. I have Be Quiet Pure Rock Cooler. Does this indicate that I passed the tests? Should I consider running it again with a 4.2 stock vCore? Or should I add something because CPU-Z showed my vCore automatically at 1.152 vCore? Thanks, I really want to start overclocking and aim for stable performance around 4.2GHz. Edit: In the Prime95 folder results.txt, I found these entries.

This beginner-friendly overclocking guide is really helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CHs5_TdpXE
What should I add to the core for a good starting point? My target is 4.4, but 4.2 seems right where I want to begin.
Can you assist me in reaching this goal?

Makentox :
You should avoid overclocking on auto voltage. Start with manual tuning to discover the optimal frequency/voltage/temperature balance. This guide is quite beginner-friendly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CHs5_TdpXE
Need some starting point? How much vCore add do I need? My target is 4.4, but 4.2 is a good place to begin.
Can you help me reach this goal? I’ve shared the link with you, and there are many tutorials online.
