i5 2500k [email protected], temperatures occasionally rise to 80°C.
With a Lucifer V2, expect at least a 5°C drop?
Please verify the maximum temperatures.

I don’t see any issues with your temperatures given your high overclock setting. The processor may slow down or shut down to avoid damage if it becomes too hot. That’s around 100 degrees Celsius. At idle, I assume a properly mounted cooler will keep things between 10-15 degrees above ambient temperature. How is your case cooling working? What type of cooler are you using? Any cooler requires fresh air intake to function correctly? If you remove the case covers and notice a significant drop, consider looking into case cooling options.
