The BIOS should include a puzzling feature like "multi-monitor support." If it isn't turned on, the integrated graphics might turn off automatically when a new card is added.

I discovered this feature tucked away in three levels of menus beneath Advanced → System Agent → Graphics Configuration. These businesses definitely require usability specialists since most BIOS options—except Dell’s—are quite poor. Quicksync now functions within OBS!
