consider upgrading your motherboard since your B450 MB has a bottleneck. The AORUS Elite B450 supports the R5 2600, so it should work with it. You may not need to change the CPU unless you want better performance.

Who actually suggested that? A 2600 won’t slow down a 64. Keep it on Zen 3. The 2600 is okay right now. Avoid changing your platform either. To clarify, no one did. A 3600 seems like a better choice. Just hold off on the b450 board.

10600K isn't compatible with B450 boards. You should consider swapping the motherboard as well, balancing cost and performance. The 3600XT seems like the best logical option.
