About a week after construction he wished he had chosen an AMD chip rather than an Intel one, yet I've relied heavily on this community for PC setup guidance. Just used the PC part picker.

I also don’t intend to rely solely on the processor for gaming tasks, such as streaming, video editing, and other job-related activities.

He might still get it back later. Of course, taking it apart won’t be easy, but it’s inevitable eventually—especially since quad-core processors aren’t performing like they used to.

3600 ALL THE WAY is a 3300x version made just for gaming, while the 3100 version is better for lighter use but isn't ideal yet.

Streaming and editing RYZNE 5 at 3600 will make more sense compared to 3300x. 3300x isn't the worst, but 3600 delivers better performance.

A. The 3600 offers the highest IPC among all options, delivering the best performance.
B. If you avoid spending $200, choose the 3300x which matches the IPC closely, shares the same memory controller as the 3600, and has fewer hyper threads.
C. For a very tight budget, opt for the 3100 with similar core count to the 3300x, matching its memory controller, despite the lower IPC—consider it a significant drawback.
D. The 9100f is clearly a poor choice; it’s not worth mentioning.

The site keeps claiming the i3 9100f outperforms the 3600 by 3%, but you're not sure if they're reliable anymore.

The 3600 is an i7 8700—take a moment to consider that.
