It seems like you've been using a 4:3 aspect ratio lately, and most of the visuals look similar except for reduced detail (excluding the stretching itself).

Don't overthink the configurations in CS Go; it's just a minor distraction. Experts usually lower the levels significantly. I use the 1600x900 low settings even though my machine isn't great at it.
