I’m preparing for your motherboard upgrade next week. You’ll need to back up all your data beforehand. If you’re using the same hard drives and SSD, simply connect them to the new motherboard and everything should work. No special steps required unless you have specific hardware changes.

It might be better to save your files and restart the operating system instead

I assembled a fresh PC and connected my old NVMe SSD with Windows, games, and applications. It functioned perfectly without issues. I had to reactivate Windows, but everything was fine afterward. New hardware was recognized, drivers updated automatically, and performance remained smooth. All tests showed normal results, no lag detected. Remember to back up your data before major changes just in case.
