It seems the larger cap likely needs a dual-rank setup. I'm not sure if dual or single rank is the right choice.

It was a segment about Intel systems, mentioning FLEX mode or Intel Flex memory tech. A few recent Intel CPUs might still support this capability. I'm unsure if AMD offers comparable options.
