what happened was i accidentally left the psu switch on and couldn't turn it off. i unplugged the gpu, cleaned it, and then when i tried to plug it back in, the pci-e slot sparked. i removed it right away and reinserted it. after that, i turned it back on but still didn't see any display. i've used a different card before, but it worked the same—no signal on my monitor, just fans spinning. i also tried another pci-e slot, but the issue persisted. my pc specs are: mother board asrock 970 extreme 3, cpu amd fx 8300, 12gb ram, nvidia 650 amp 2gb gpu, ssd 960gb, hdd 2x seagate baracuda lt1t each. anyone could help would be really appreciated.
