I recently viewed the ChannelSuperFun video featuring Gang Beasts. It seemed enjoyable, so I purchased it on Steam for $20. When I tried to play online, I was surprised to find there was no multiplayer option. Disappointed, I initiated a return, which processed smoothly even through PayPal. I discovered I wasn’t in the beta testing phase, prompting me to buy again after receiving the refund. The game turned out to be quite fun. However, checking my bank statement, Steam and PayPal showed charges of $40 instead of $20. It appears I may have bought two copies. On PayPal, the transaction history indicates a charge, a return, and then another charge, leaving me with $20 in purchases. Yet my checking account shows a different outcome. There seems to be no available balance to transfer, suggesting the refunded funds are still pending on PayPal.
