Place the files in the core-mods directory instead of mods.

It might remove it because it doesn't meet certain criteria or guidelines.

It’s not a folder that comes with the game by default since the built-in version lacks core mod support. Forge will search for those if the folder exists and handles them differently from regular mods—using coremods in the way classic Minecraft modding did, by inserting code directly into the game jar before loading others. At least that’s my take on it.

You should place it in the mod folder, not the main .minecraft folder.

In the Minecraft directory, it should be at the same level as the mods folder. When you reply here or mention me with @Tabs, I’ll let you know so I can answer faster.

It seems the core chicken mod libraries aren't loading properly. I haven't updated my Minecraft mods for a while, so this might be outside my capabilities now. It could be that your modding settings have changed recently. If you're certain you have the correct version in both mods and coremods folders, there may be an issue with the client itself.
