I play Apex Legends on a graphics card that runs at about 140 frames per second, but sometimes it drops down to around 110. When the framerate drops like that, the game looks super slow and laggy as if I'm playing at 30 fps. These are my exact computer specs: an i5-9400F processor with a Sapphire RX 570 graphics card (4GB) paired with 16 gigabytes of RAM. My monitor is an AOC screen that supports freeSync, and it has a refresh rate of 144Hz. I first thought the issue might be with freeSync, but after turning that feature on, nothing changed. Also, when I connected my PC to a DisplayPort cable instead of HDMI or something else, there was still no improvement at all. Inside the game, both the graphics card and CPU temps are around 70 degrees Celsius. The graphics card is using almost 100% power, and the RAM is usually using about 9 gigabytes of memory.
When do you have free time? Is it always steady and consistent?
