I need three machines connected with a network faster than gigabit Ethernet. I’m aiming for 2.5 gigabit, but a suitable small switch isn’t available. My current gigabit switch is outdated. Are there upcoming products by late 2021 that offer 2.5 gigabit ports, five connections, and an uplink port without being rack-mounted server gear?

It's a specialized item with Wi-Fi 6 becoming widely available, so I believe more businesses will adopt 10G when consumers meet the 1G standards. The most common 10G NICs are roughly priced similarly to a brand-new 2.5G model.
