You recently bought a new motherboard, CPU, and GPU. Everything functioned well at first. After shutting it down for the night, it booted up the next day but Windows login was very slow and froze. You tested various RAM sticks, but the issue persisted. After reinstalling Windows, things seemed normal for a while. Then games would freeze briefly after re-installing. While configuring OBS, you noticed black bars appearing only when moving the mouse. Help needed while still under return policy.

Problems often arise from the GPU, display cable, or the screen itself. You might test by changing cables, outputs, inputs, or monitors to check if the issue persists. If it continues even with different connections, the problem likely lies with the drive or a non-responsive driver.

I experienced a situation where the audio driver disappeared, forcing me to re-download it. That triggered the entire process. My PC lacked sound while video played through HDMI. I reinstalled the driver, but performance became extremely slow and unstable. Thinking about a virus, I reinstalled Windows, yet the issue remained after the update. The system freezes on the login screen for 15 to 40 seconds, and even with an Intel Core i5 11400f and RTX 3060, the lag is still noticeable. It wasn’t an issue when the components arrived.

Save DDU, launch in safe mode and execute. It removes all display drivers. Restart then reinstall the driver. There appears to be a conflict issue. This should resolve the problem.

I swapped to an old gpu and all issues were gone . So I started leaning towards PSU issues. I swapped those and now things are working fine . I also DDU two times for the swapping and swapping back of GPUs. Things seeeeeem to be fixed . Still a little laggy . But now I can enter windows without it freezing.
