I was excited about moving up from my old q6600, but now I see this: honestly, what am I supposed to do while browsing the internet and have my CPU work like it’s gaming? I expected something calm and simple outside of games and heavy tasks. It doesn’t feel very stable, especially with the high temperatures for long periods. I’m spending at least eight hours a day on the computer, plus the heat and noise—it doesn’t seem like a cool upgrade to me. fml

It's not Windows 95, yet it accomplishes the task.

The challenge lies in the excessive heat generated by packing 12 cores into a compact desktop CPU. It seems these performance problems stem from faulty BIOS settings on the X470 board.

With a 570-board that doesn't happen, it's unclear what you're asking about. Could you clarify your question?

It's possible, though not certain. CPUs sometimes experience temperature spikes, but it doesn't usually cause a problem.
