I resolved the issue with your Bluetooth not displaying.
Hello everyone, I've faced a really frustrating issue with my Bluetooth over the past couple of weeks. It just disappeared completely, leaving no trace of the connection on my laptop. When I tried adjusting the settings, I couldn't enable or disable it, and adding any devices failed. Nothing seemed to work. The things that didn’t help were: using the Windows 10 quick actions panel to turn Bluetooth on—it didn’t show up at all. Checking the Control Panel settings also didn’t yield results. Device Manager scanned for hardware but showed nothing. All drivers appeared up to date, and I ran the latest updates. A restart of Windows didn’t make a difference. Trying to start or restart Bluetooth services via services.msc also failed. I reinstalled the recommended Acer drivers for the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 chip, but it still wouldn’t install. After following all these steps, I tried a full system reboot: holding SHIFT while shutting down, unplugging for 10 seconds, then plugging back in and launching the computer. It worked again. This long-standing issue is finally resolved. I thought many others might be experiencing the same problem. My network chip is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter, which I slightly upgraded with extra RAM and storage. Have a great day!
I set up an account to express my gratitude. I encountered the same issue and discovered your message. I reviewed the content step by step, trying all the solutions you suggested when I first arrived. I didn’t realize devices could be concealed in the device manager, so I explored hidden entries and found Bluetooth items. I removed the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, and after a fresh Windows install it worked again. Now I’m able to use Bluetooth normally. It seems a failed Windows update might have caused this. I also faced some driver problems recently.
Hey there! I set up my own account just to show my appreciation. You truly deserve the recognition. Spending so much time on videos and reading is no small feat. May fortune smile upon you and bring you great success.
For whatever reason I was having the same issue. Here's my backstory. I was trying to hook-up my Raycon wireless earbuds to my PC so when I am recording my tutorial videos I can hear what I am saying (and to make sure the recording level is correct and there are no sound issues). When I went into Bluetooth settings there was no On/Off switch. So I spent hours trying to figure out how to get this On/Off switch back on my computer with ZERO luck. Then while researching this someone recommended I buy a USB Bluetooth adapter. That sounded awesome and a quick fix. Boy was I wrong. I went to install the drivers from the Targus website and received this error, "COULD NOT START MICROSOFT BLUETOOTH STACK. PLEASE REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER AND TRY AGAIN." After 3 reboots and it still giving me the same error, I typed the error code into Google and that's how I found this thread. Unfortunately, the whole, "shut down computer and pull the power plug for 10 seconds" didn't work either. Did anyone find a way to fix this yet??? Randy
Hey! I took a break from working on the wall, spent time with family playing cards, and finally got a fresh perspective. After fixing the Targus Bluetooth adapter, everything is running smoothly now. I’m trying to see if I can connect my Bluetooth headphones, but it’s been a frustrating six hours of troubleshooting. Let me know if you need help! Happy holidays and new year!
