I own an i7 970 x58 setup. Please be aware you're removing security updates for a recognized flaw that's been released. I’m not liable for any outcomes from these steps and this is being done at your own risk. Make sure to back up your files before proceeding. Refer to the instructions at http://www.howto-connect.com/fix-inacces...indows-10/. You might need to use Rufus to generate the USB if the Windows Media Creation tool doesn’t work, it took me multiple attempts and several restarts before my laptop succeeded. If you don’t have another machine, try booting from a Linux USB drive instead. Also, PS2 keyboards can help if your USB ports aren’t functioning properly. At step 7, search for items from 2018 and uninstall them. You can also copy the package names by highlighting text and using Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V after the colon next to each name. Refresh the packages a few times to see all of them.
