As described in the title, I experienced several problems with the GPU. I unplugged everything, removed the CPU, GPU, power connections to the motherboard, CMOS, and the HDD. After reassembling everything, whenever I turn on the PC and see the screen, my headphones start humming. I tested three different headphones—two new and one old—but none resolved the issue. Whenever I plug in the GREEN jack, regardless of whether it's the front or back audio port, the humming continues. Even when using just the microphone, it doesn't pick up any sound. This has been my problem for over five years, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I experienced some problems with the GPU. I unplugged everything, removed the CPU, GPU, and power connections to the motherboard, CMOS, and HDD. When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide full system specifications. Please list your build details as follows:

CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Headphone(s):
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.

Once I connected the GREEN jack—whether front or back audio ports—it began humming. Even when using the pink microphone, no sound was detected. You may want to try reinstalling your audio drivers or check if the front panel audio is correctly connected to the motherboard.

Moved the thread from the Components section to the Systems section.

It's a really good cooler, but I can't remember the name. The CPU stays cold all the time.
B450M DS3H
16GB DDR4 at 3000mhz
500 NVME Kingston, 1TB HDD
RX 580X 8GB
GameMax GP-650 80 Plus Bronze 650W Active PFC 14cm Fan ATX Power Supply Unit
Windows 11
Logitech Headset
Sorry for not sharing the full specs.
I tried deleting and reinstalling drivers, but nothing helped. Both front and back audio panels are the same. The front USB panel works, though it's on the same chip as the audio.

Probably weak protection in the audio cable when it occurs at the front and back connectors.

I would also consider purchasing a higher quality PSU.

If it wasn't there before, perhaps a wire is making contact with something it shouldn't. On the other hand, if the mic input isn't functioning properly, it might indicate some damage to the audio system during your PC disassembly. You might consider using an external USB audio interface/DAC/sound card to avoid internal signal interference. There are affordable options that should work well.

Analog audio is always prone to interference.
As suggested by ThereAndBackAgain, affordable USB Digital to Analog Converter options exist.
For instance, starting at just $10:
UGREEN USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter USB Sound Card
This USB to TRRS setup offers everything required for a headset using a combination jack:
If separate connections are necessary,
an adapter like the one shown is also available:
UGREEN Headphone Splitter 3.5mm 2 Female to 1 Male Mic and Audio Y Splitter TRRS Headset Adapter Cable
Alternatively, for a more advanced desktop setup, consider the JDS Labs - Atom DAC 2 (only line level outputs) paired with a separate microphone such as the Antlion Modmic Uni 2 or another USB mic.
A convenient all-in-one option is the Fulla by Schiit Audio.
