So yeah, I already installed all the required drivers and stuff and even DOOM (GzDoom) lags and stutters. All the games I have on the other HDD are games I used to be able to run perfectly or at least enough to be playable. I changed my main HDD to one with a smaller capacity but I doubt that is the problem here. I am running an i5 with a 4gb RAM stick. I am truly desperate and I need guidance.
A lone 4 GB RAM module is insufficient for gaming with Windows 10 and further degrades performance due to a reduced memory bandwidth resulting from the absence of dual-channel operation.
Do you have a discrete graphics card, or are you utilizing integrated video? (Following performance drops after reinstallations, remember that Windows updates may still be loading for an extended period – potentially up to two hours – contingent on your internet speed; moreover, reinstalls increase the chance and frequency of Microsoft's default drivers being utilized instead of optimized chipset drivers provided by your motherboard manufacturer.)
