Hey there! I tried setting up Kali Linux on my system, but it caused issues with booting. I had to clear the partition on my secondary hard drive and then restart everything. After that, I ended up in Windows 7, but when I tried to shut it down and restart again, I got a strange error (photo attached). Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks! -Bob

Happened once to me. To resolve it, you need a Windows 7 install DVD or USB. Boot from it and launch the command prompt (probably Shift + F10), then type "bootrec.exe /FixMbr" without quotes. You should see "The operation completed successfully," and you’ll be able to restart into Windows 7.

Hey there, everything worked just right. I should also mention you can do this using a Windows 10 installation DVD or USB drive.
