I've been working on it for two weeks now.
It's a Lenovo Loq laptop with these specifications:
4050 GPU, 12GB RAM, Ryzen 5 7235HS CPU.
It runs very poorly in games, even when the power setting is turned off. The stuttering and input lag are extreme, regardless of the performance mode I switch between. No matter what I do, the performance stays the same.

After more testing and a fresh installation—including the operating system—I discovered the GPU is only drawing about 10-12 watts, even though I set it to maximum using Lenovo's software.

Regarding the warranty, I can't use it because I bought the laptop from the US and shipped it to another country on a different continent.
Please help me identify and resolve the issue, and thank you in advance.

verify that the game or laptop is utilizing the discrete GPU rather than the CPU-heavy one. My AMD-based CPU was initially using the on-board one, but I had to switch it to use the 4060 that's inside.

The 4050 isn't a midrange option—it's the slowest in the 40 series. Ensure games switch to the 4050 instead of relying on your integrated graphics.

I logged into the bios, and it indicates I have just one discrete GPU available.

Bios displays just the 4050, missing all other GPUs.

It's strange, but it seems your chip doesn't have IGP, according to the information I found. I wasn't aware that AMD had a laptop chip missing this feature. My machine uses an R7 8845hs with IGP, and I experienced problems switching at one point, which is why I made my suggestion. Are you using the newest driver from Nvidia?

Install GPU-Z to observe GPU activity during gaming. It shows TDP, frequency, temperature, voltage, and PerfCap reasons for performance issues. Windows power-saving settings might also affect results.

What power profile are you using? Have you installed all the latest drivers and Windows updates?

There is just one power plan named balanced, but I created another one and adjusted the CPU usage to 100% while plugged and unplugged. The issue remains unchanged. I'm pretty sure the problem is related only to the GPU, as it's pulling about 10 watts according to Nvidia data and reaching a maximum of 35% utilization.
