I was fine-tuning my microphone arm when the heavy component hit the desk and landed on my PC. It was the Elgato arm. I don’t know its exact weight—possibly around 2 to 3 pounds at most. The screen went dark, and when I checked the motherboard, the CPU indicator lit up white. I’ve tried removing and reinserting the CPU, resetting the BIOS, but nothing works. Everything was purchased around October 20. Any advice would be appreciated?

Specs: CPU – Ryzen 5 5600X, Motherboard – MSI MOG B550 Gaming Plus ATX, GPU – Nvidia 3060 Ti, SSD – Samsung 980 TB, PSU – MSI MGP A650G.

I think it might have created a link between things. Without any visible damage to the case, there shouldn't be any harm to the item's parts. This suggests a force-related issue with a cable or connection. If a simple inspection isn't helping, I recommend rebuilding the machine. Set aside 30 minutes, take out all components including RAM, reverse all connections, and thoroughly examine everything. Reconstruct the machine from the ground up, ensuring each cable and connection is secure.
