1080p resolution with native performance, no DLSS required. Achieves over 60 frames per second across most medium settings. Note that certain recent titles maintain a forced 60fps cap, such as Elden Ring and Genshin Impact. For these, I apply Lossless Scaling frame generation.

1080 native at 60 fps works well for me; it's hard to notice the change between 60 and 160 fps.

1600x1200p at 75FPS with medium-high quality works well for me. If needed, I can lower everything to the point where no major change is noticeable. 600p at 140 fps also provides a solid experience when the resolution is boosted between 150-200%.

It seems 40fps at 680p was typical for that game on my old laptop. You quickly adapt to the visuals, but the FPS feels tied to the screen quality. The main problem was struggling to read text clearly—it looked like a blurry mess, and even phone photos helped a bit.

For competitive situations I require 120fps in 1080p. If not, I’m okay with 60fps at 1440p provided the visuals are acceptable. However, I also play on PS2 and Xbox sometimes; 30fps at 360p works as long as the game was built for that resolution.

4K stable at 60fps works well with DLSS upsampling, though no FG is supported. For fast scenes I aim for over 100 FPS. A budget setup would be acceptable with a 1440p display. Running native resolution is essential. Typically I push settings fully using DLSS and disable ray tracing only when necessary, unless the difference is obvious.
