I adjusted the resolution on CSGO about two weeks ago. When I tried to revert it, I experienced lag across all games and could only play smoothly on that specific resolution in CS without issues. I was previously using 1920x1080.
I also played Valorant recently and found it ran well for a few months.
I attempted to reset my computer, updated the CPU driver, ran CPU tests, scanned for viruses, and vacuumed most of the system.
Thank you

Checking CPU and GPU temperatures along with usage while playing. Is a malware scan needed for the system?

gpu core 42 maintains a temperature between 42 and 49 degrees celsius
cpu core #1 operates at 37-40 degrees celsius with a maximum of 55
cpu core #2 functions within 37-40 degrees celsius up to 57
gpu usage is at 26% cpu usage is 30% memory utilization reaches 74% with 1200mb on csgo and about 800mb on chrome. I do not play with google open
i ran malwarebytes and no threats were detected
