Hello,
I have a Samsung 960 EVO 250 GB NVMe SSD and am considering a converter. My laptop has a 120 GB SATA 3 SSD, and I need to connect it via a SATA 3 port. Can I use any SATA 3 to M2 converter? Should I look for one that offers better performance? I understand I may experience some loss in speed but want to make the most of the extra storage. Thank you.

I don't believe anything like that exists.

There are adapters available for 2.5” SATA and M.2 SATA connections. I haven’t come across any options for M.2 NVMe yet.

You cannot use NVME drives. There isn't any support for them.

This item is not compatible with SATA. The U.2 (SFF-8639) model is not SATA compatible.
