I have an X570 AORUS ELITE with Realtek HD audio built in. Recently I updated all the drivers and BIOS settings on my PC. Somehow, a program called Realtek Audio Console appeared on my computer. I thought about using it to fix noise reduction for my headphones because the option was removed from Windows Sound Settings, but I wanted to stop sound bleeding into the microphone.

I tried setting things up in Realtek Audio Console. It let me choose different things like 5.1 surround sound or test if virtualization worked with my sound. Later, I noticed that the sound is now just in mono—the same thing plays out from both ears at once, like it's being used as a center speaker. This happens when I use headphones and also with speakers using front and back jacks. Now, Realtek Audio Console doesn't let me change anything about the sound setup anymore.

If I mess up the balance settings, I can make only one ear hear or speak at a time, but the final output isn't the problem. Something is changing the sound along the way, maybe trying to act like a center speaker. Does anyone know how I could fix this? Also, I don't even remember how I got that Realtek Audio Console software in the first place—it's really hard to get now. After uninstilling it, the only way I could reinstall it was through a hidden Windows Store page. So, there seems to be no hope from getting support from Realtek or Gigabyte anyway.
