I was considering replacing my CPU with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D. I noticed they have Silver and Black variants, but I wanted to confirm if the motherboard I have (B550 MAG Tomahawk AMD AM4 ATX) supports both options.

I don’t have the ability to post links directly. Could you provide the specific links you’re referring to? Once you share them, I can help you with anything else you need regarding those resources.

Found this on Best Buy, but I also noticed the black model had the wrong CPU. Still okay. Here’s the link: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/amd-ryzen-7...Id=6573560

The "silver" was added simply since the person providing the product details had a form they couldn’t skip. As @Poinkachu mentioned, it should be ignored.

It seems Best Buy is making some mistakes. Their site lists colors differently depending on the size—like Silver for one version and Black for another. Make sure you check the exact product details to avoid confusion.
