Here’s what I found: I own two 8GB Corsair CMK16GX4MB2B3200C16 RAM sticks and recently got a two-gb RIPJ AWARE F4-3200C14-8GVK from Facebook Marketplace. It’s been functioning well until I noticed it only runs at 2133MHz. My motherboard is an MSI X570 Gaming Edge WiFi (MS-7C) with an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X CPU. When I tried to adjust the BIOS frequency to 3200 or higher, the system would crash on startup and required a BIOS reset to get it running again. After two days of troubleshooting with no success, I’m running out of time. Any advice from others could really help. Thanks!
Sure thing. Avoid using auto settings since you have two different kits. Position the Corsair kit in A2 B2 and the second kit in A1 B1. Power it on and navigate to BIOS. Adjust the frequency to 3200. Configure the DRAM voltage to 1.35V and set the primary timings as 16-18-18-36. If issues persist, download aida64, then go to Motherboard -> SPD. Pick one Corsair stick and note the complete timing table clearly. Extend the page to distinguish each setting. Capture a photo, return to BIOS, and apply all timings as specified. Leave only DRAM frequency and voltage unchanged except for those details.
