I have a 4930k CPU, but when I open CPU-Z it displays 3 threads and 6, while I believe it should show 6 to 12. Why is that happening? Any suggestions? Thanks!

on startup it has 6 cores whereas on cpu-z it shows 3 cores with 6 threads
