Avoid using range extenders or repeaters unless necessary, as they consume bandwidth and can reduce network quality. A genuine access point offers a superior alternative when possible, especially if you have the option to run Ethernet cables.

Consider exploring MikroTik as well; it has a bit of a setup phase but offers solid hardware. Its business approach is comparable to Ubiquiti, though I’ve found MikroTik more reliable than Ubiquiti in practice. I manage a crs125-24g-1s-rm device that manages my PPP authentication with the ISP and also handles DHCP, NAT, and firewall. You can add IPS and IDS as well. They provide models supporting Wi-Fi and include 10Gb ports. If you’re up for learning a bit about WinBox—a GUI tool for configuration versus command line—worth checking them out.
