I have a software on my laptop that doesn't want to install fully, so I was wondering if it's possible to put it on a USB drive and run it on my desktop where it won't install completely. It is a chess program called rybka aquarium—its interface will install, but the openings book is an add-in and isn't too demanding. How can I collect the fully installed version from my laptop and move it to my PC? Any suggestions? Thanks!

if copying and pasting all related folders and files isn't possible, then additional registry entries, redistributables, or configuration files may need to be installed individually.
if the software is tied to a specific user or system account, logging in with the same credentials could allow reinstallation.
if it was a single install license, this approach might be considered illegal.
those matters are not permitted on Tom's platform, and you should seek alternative solutions.
