Following the latest BIOS update, my RAM speed remained at 2133. Previously, it was running at 3200 with my Asus X470 gaming rig and Ryzen 7 2700. I had G.Skill C16 3600 with two 16GB modules installed. I attempted to activate XMP at full speed just to test its effect. Knowing it wouldn't help after multiple cycles, I switched it to 3333. After entering Windows, the system displayed a blue screen immediately. In BIOS I set it back to 3200 and left all other settings as auto. Since then, everything has malfunctioned. The Armory Crate won't start, along with several other programs that refuse to launch. System restore didn't resolve the issue; a watchdog violation appeared, and a window showed "The service did not respond." It seems the same problem persists even after resetting BIOS back to defaults.

I had to reinstall Windows 11 due to a lot of damaged files that blocked access. It’s unclear if a memory speed adjustment caused this, or if it was just a coincidence. With a clean install now, you might want to give it another try.

Consider reverting to the previous speed settings before the update, as retrying carries potential risks.
