I changed the firmware for the BL touch, but your printer isn't setting up automatically or moving past 0.0 when you manually adjust the bed. Anyone have any suggestions on what might be the issue?

I am not familiar with the Ender 3 but it seems that you have a parameter set wrong or a bug in the firmware. EDIT: Found that video that says that the z-axis detect switch is set too high and causes that behavior. Have a nice day.

I'm using the firmware from Creality for my mainboard, and yes, I've customized other parts on my printer. It now has separate fans, a Briss Fang cooler for the hot end, and different springs. Everything functioned until I updated it and added the Bl Touch. When I power it on manually, it completes its startup sequence properly. I also removed the limit switch during manual axis movement, which stopped it from registering a 0.0 value. It seems the issue might be related to the firmware. I'm unsure what to do next.

everything functions properly and the firmware is correct. I double-checked the board last night to confirm it wasn’t my Z-axis that’s faulty—it’s the X and Y axes. I was hoping to avoid editing code, so sticking with Creality made sense.
