Hello! Your B-450F motherboard had a component fail when you pressed the power button, causing a small arc flash and fire. It seems the part between the header and the tag might be faulty. Check the manual for details, but based on what you described, it could be a solder joint or connector issue. You should inspect the area carefully and consider replacing the affected component to prevent further problems.
Everything is operating smoothly, it had the fire, slowed down briefly, then resumed normal functioning.
It seems the resistor appears damaged but isn’t crucial for the board’s function. You might be safe leaving it in place. Ideally, you could desolder it and replace it with a new one, but it’s not mandatory.
It is next to the RGB header, have you lost the RGB settings? Did you lose anything? (fan spinning...no other idea) Can I still adjust the RGB color? Might it be that you connected something to the wrong header? Did you make any changes recently? Edited February 10, 2024 by leclod
No changes made, nothing broken. Everything functions properly—colors, fans, and all still work. I don’t get it, haha.
