Omaki stands tall above everything. Shadow of the Colossus fits the bill too. Last of Us was there as well. I enjoyed some parts of Dark Souls. Mods can make Minecraft look stunning, and Skyrim and GTA IV/Watch Dogs also impress. But among all these, I’m stuck—each has its own unique charm.
It was one of the rare native 1080p PS3 titles, and I think it's a stunning experience.
I’m considering Wind Waker because of its striking art style, which I’ve always appreciated when executed well. The water temple in Ocarina of Time stands out as a top level design—though some might find it challenging. Graphical excellence and optimization shine in The Last of Us for me; I have no idea how Naughty Dog achieved such impressive results on the PS3. They seem to have made Crytek look a bit naive when they claimed Crysis 2 pushes the console to its limits.
I didn't think I'd be able to play Crysis 2, but it ran smoothly at low settings—about 30 frames per second. The visuals were impressive despite the limitations.
